Just in: Green Bay Packers have Hired yet Another Expert

The Green Bay Packers have reportedly added a new assistant to their defensive staff, with Sean Duggan, co-defensive coordinator from Boston College, joining the team as a defensive assistant, as reported by Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston. While Duggan’s specific role within the Packers organization has not been disclosed, he brings a wealth of experience in coaching linebackers.

During his tenure at Boston College since 2020, Duggan has overseen the development of several standout linebackers, with four players earning All-ACC honors under his guidance, including Isaiah McDuffie. McDuffie, who played under Jeff Hafley at Boston College, has crossed paths with Duggan during their time at the university. Additionally, Duggan has previous experience working with Hafley at Ohio State, where he earned high praise from Hafley for his intelligence, reliability, and strategic insight. Hafley emphasized Duggan’s potential to excel in the coaching profession, citing his advanced understanding of the game and his ability to grasp the broader picture. Another promising figure in the coaching realm is Quay Walker.
