Despite the Lakers’ 128-121 loss, LeBron James delivered an impressive performance, scoring 40 points and contributing eight rebounds and nine assists. However, a delay of over 20 minutes ensued due to a challenge on an out-of-bounds play, which resulted in the rescindment of a corner three-pointer previously made by James, leading to a loss of points for the Los Angeles team.
