The Buffalo Bills have announced on Tuesday that they are finalizing a one-year contract with veteran offensive lineman La’el Collins.
Since joining the Cowboys in 2015 as an undrafted free agent, Collins has accumulated 86 starts in his career, mainly operating as a right tackle. In 2022, Collins transitioned to the Bengals, where he started in 15 games.
Following a season-ending ACL/MCL injury in 2023, Collins was placed on the reserve/physically unable to perform list. Although he later re-signed with the Cowboys’ practice squad before the playoffs, he did not make an appearance in their NFC Wild Card game.
Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 315 pounds, Collins had a collegiate football career at LSU from 2011 to 2014. During his time there, he earned recognition as a First-team All-SEC player in 2014 and was also named a Second-team All-American in the same year.
