Reportedly, Ohio State invested between $10 to $13 million in NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) deals to assemble a top-tier roster for 2024. This strategy involved retaining certain players for another season and acquiring standout transfer portal athletes like defensive back Caleb Downs from the Alabama Crimson Tide.
In an article by Eleven Warriors, fellow defensive tackle Ty Hamilton echoed Williams’ sentiments, asserting that together, they could form the best defensive duo in the nation. Hamilton emphasized their strong chemistry and camaraderie, stating, “I believe that together, we could be the best in the country. Yeah, I stand by that. We share a deep bond and understanding on the field, knowing we’re committed to playing for each other.”
