Floyd, who achieved a career-high of 10.5 sacks while playing for the Buffalo Bills last season, will now team up with Nick Bosa, the 2022 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, providing the 49ers with a formidable edge-rushing duo. Over his eight-year NFL career with the Chicago Bears (2016-2019), Los Angeles Rams (2020-2022), and Bills, Floyd has amassed 58 sacks. He notably secured a Super Bowl victory with the Rams in the 2021 season and replicated his 10.5-sack performance with the Rams in 2020. With 370 tackles, seven fumble recoveries, four forced fumbles, and two interceptions in 121 NFL games (with 120 starts), Floyd brings both experience and versatility to the 49ers’ defense.
