The significant moves on the offensive line include the signings of Jon Runyan Jr. and Jermaine Eluemunor, with the latter recently highlighted in a segment by “Baldy Breakdowns.

NFL analyst Brian Baldinger, who previously played as an offensive lineman, recently analyzed Eluemunor’s game footage, commending multiple aspects of the 29-year-old’s performance, such as his capacity to reach the second level and his formidable grip strength.

Baldinger remarked, “In his seven-year career, he has started 45 games and played over 2,900 snaps, with just two holding penalties. He rarely holds; his hands are exceptional.

Throughout his career, Eluemunor has participated in 87 games across stints with the Ravens (2017-18), Patriots (2019-20), and Raiders (2021-23). Among these, he has started in 45 regular-season matchups, with 32 starts at right tackle, seven at left tackle, and six at right guard. Additionally, he has made appearances in two postseason contests.

Eluemunor participated in every one of the Raiders’ 17 games last season and managed to prevent sacks in 14 of those matchups. Additionally, in seven separate games, the experienced lineman did not concede any pressure.

Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 330 pounds, Eluemunor will join forces again with new offensive line coach Carmen Bricillo. They have previously worked together in both New England (2019-20) and Las Vegas (2022-23).

In his introductory press conference, Eluemunor expressed, “If you scrutinize my performance, you’ll find my most successful years were under Carm.” He emphasized the value of having a coach like Bricillo who believes in his players, provides tough love, and offers the necessary support. Eluemunor highlighted Bricillo’s rare combination of football knowledge, technical expertise, and willingness to advocate for his players, acknowledging that not every team benefits from such a skilled offensive line coach.

Eluemunor highlighted the invaluable experience of studying under Dante Scarnecchia, widely regarded as one of the best offensive line coaches in NFL history during his time with the Patriots. Eluemunor believes this experience will greatly benefit the younger players, enabling them to absorb Bricillo’s coaching and elevate their skills as offensive linemen.
