Green Bay Packers Backup Quarterback is Likely to Emerge as NFL Comeback Player of the Year Behind Jordan Love.

The Titans Believe in Ryan Tannehill. Does Anyone Else? | Sports | nashvillescene.com

The Green Bay Packers presently have Sean Clifford as their backup quarterback, while Ryan Tannehill is currently a free agent. Tannehill, who spent the last five seasons with the Tennessee Titans, primarily as their starting quarterback, temporarily lost his starting position last season to Will Levis due to injury concerns.

At 35 years old, Tannehill might have aspirations of being a starting quarterback elsewhere, but the current market doesn’t seem to offer him that opportunity. Instead, there appears to be greater demand for him to serve as a backup quarterback rather than as a starter.

Tannehill might opt to explore the free agent market and await potential opportunities arising from injuries during training camp to secure a starting position. Being on any team’s roster would be preferable to remaining unsigned.
